Opis
- Development and implementation of category strategies for service‑relevant material groups (spare parts, wear parts, major overhauls, services)
- Proactive contribution to and further development of the commodity group strategy in close coordination with the manufacturing plants
- Identification of cost‑reduction opportunities and execution of continuous improvement initiatives, particularly with regard to TCO optimization
- Conducting in‑depth supply chain analyses to ensure a robust and efficient supply chain
- Close collaboration with Engineering, Service Operations, and other key stakeholders
- Benchmarking of international markets and deriving corresponding optimization and sourcing measures
- Leading complex price and contract negotiations and concluding long‑term agreements
- Building, maintaining, and actively managing relationships with relevant suppliers
Wymagania
- Completed university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement or category management – ideally within the rail sector or an industrial environment
- Strong competence in working with complex systems and a pronounced affinity for commercial and economic contexts
- Proven experience in conducting international negotiations
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of fact‑based decision-making
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills with a clear focus on results and solutions
- Fluent German and English skills, each at a negotiation-ready level, both written and spoken
- Confident and diligent use of Office applications and their effective integration into daily work
