We do not have a Product Owner so we have more autonomy on what we choose to work on. However, this also means we have more responsibility to engage with our stakeholders and customers, prioritise based on impact and deal with ambiguity.
Join the daily stand-up, our meeting of the day, where the squad discusses what they’re working on
Be on a rota for in-hours support. Help our internal customers, Engineers, with any of the services we provide, such as CI/CD or golden paths
Use kanban to flexibly adapt and have the highest impact. If a stream/product squad is blocked, helping them would be your top priority

A passionate software engineer who is able to build and maintain services. We use Java and Javascript but, if you’re strong in another language, we are happy for you to learn.
Able to use and debug Docker and Kubernetes or similar
Able to use and debug Helm and ArgoCD or similar
English skills at a minimum C1 level are required (daily communication is in English)
Knowledge of Kafka, AWS, GCP,
Knowledge and solid experience in Java, Docker, and Kubernetes are a must
Excited about working collaboratively with engineers throughout the company to solve their problems and improve their developer experience
